Brief info
Image Ark is a branding and creative studio based in the historical part of Patan, Nepal. They find inspiration in ancient temples, houses and the traditional lifestyle to create modern designs, and study the surrounding environment to understand how people communicate, test their work on the people and take advice from them.
Their team of communicators and artists shares a passion for original, meaningful and contemporary communication through graphic design, environmental design, photography, film production and web design.
The Founder and Creative Director, Marie Ange Sylvain-Holmgren, is the recipient of several awards for her films and exhibitions and her art is on permanent exhibition at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), in Bangkok, Thailand.
Image Ark is the creator of Sagarmatha Next branding, its initial website, and most importantly, the name for the center - Sagarmatha Next.
